T	TAKエコー on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 備前福岡(福岡一文字派)と長船(長船派)という二つの刀剣の里をめぐる起点。とはいえ車社会のため降りてからの公共交通機関が乏しく、ひたすら歩くか、平日のみ４便あるバス、もしくはタクシー。小さな駅のわりに日中はタクシーが待機しているのは、長船刀剣博物館目当ての観光客がいるためかと。(博物館最寄りの香登は無人駅でタクシーも居ないため、少し距離はあるが長船駅下車がおすすめ。) 周辺にはコンビニがある程度で、田園風景と住宅地が広がるのみ。この駅から備前福岡や刀剣博物館まで歩く場合は、道中ほぼ何もないため夏場などは水分補給に注意。 Bizen Fukuoka (Fukuoka one letter school) and Osafune (Osafune school) are the starting points for the two sword villages.
