土	土屋遼介 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 階段上り下りは大変だし、至る所はボロボロの田舎ならではの駅で、そのわりには利用客多いんだよね。たまにこの駅にくると「帰ってきたなぁ」と感じるわけよ。 It is difficult to go up and down stairs, everywhere is a unique railroad station, so there are a lot of visitors to it. When you come to this station occasionally you will feel "I came back."

渡	渡辺裕二 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岡山大学に岡山理科大学などの学生さんの利用が多いため、津山線では唯一ICOCAが使える駅です。現在使われているのは「島式」と言われるホームのみで、ホームへは跨線橋を渡って行きますが、かつて駅舎とホームは、スロープで結ばれていて、駅の変遷が忍ばれます。現在、スロープ部分には３つの石塔があります。由来はわかりませんが、駅名となった近くのお寺、法界院と関係あるのかも知れません。跨線橋の駅舎側には、現在立ち入り禁止の使われていないプラットホームがあります。昭和１８年以前、法界院駅には、旧陸軍岡山兵器廠（現：岡山大学津島キャンパス）と旧陸軍弾薬庫（現：陸上自衛隊三軒屋駐屯地）への、２つの軍事専用線があったそうです。それが現在の、ややこしいホームの形や長さと関係しているそうです。 Because Okayama University uses a lot of students such as Okayama University of Science, Tsuyama line is the only station where ICOCA can be used. 魔	魔法少女さくら on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岡山駅から津山線で1駅進んだ隣駅です。岡山市の郊外で岡山大学の最寄り駅なのもあってか、津山線の駅では利用者は比較的多く、島式1面2線のホームですがホーム幅はかなり広いです。ＩＣカードは岡山～当駅の1区間だけ使えます。以前は岡山から1区間だけの当駅発着列車や吉備線からここまでの直通列車が数本ありましたが、現在は朝の1往復だけで平日のみ運行になっているようです。駅名の由来になったと思われる法界院という名前の寺院は離れた場所にあり、歩けなくはないものの隣の備前原駅との中間付近とさえいえる場所にあります。 It is the next station that is one station ahead of Okayama Station on the Tsuyama Line.
