瀬戸駅までは車で行くのですが、近くに有料駐車場も多くあり助かっています。
駅前には迎え用の駐車スペースもあります。
タクシー乗り場もあり、タクシーもよく停まっていますが、
日曜日や祝日などは、タクシー利用者が多いので、予めタクシーの予約をしておくと良いと思います。
最近、みどりの窓口でのJR券販売業務が終了しています。
そのため、みどりの券売機プラスでの買わないといけなくなっています。
みどりの券売機プラスのパネルを見ながら、チケットを買うのは時間がかかるようです。
年配の方など、うまく操作ができずに、操作に時間がかかっている姿をみます。
瀬戸駅で、新幹線などのチケットを買おうとする方は、時間に余裕を持っていくことをおすすめします。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この駅も中線がある。需要に合わせた電車の区間運転が行われている。いつの間にか南口改札が出来ていた。この辺りは国鉄型の天下で駅間の長い区間はモーターを唸らせて全力で走っている。

When I was in elementary school with relatives Summer vacation I had my grandfather and grandfather use Seto Station to take me to the city to play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 寝台特急サンライズは 停車しません。
直ぐ近くに 瀬戸内海はありません。
然しながら、此処からの旧山陽町熊山町へのバス路線や近くに高校が二校有る事もあり、通勤通学で結構な利用客がいます。
Sleeper Limited Express Sunrise does not stop.
There is no Seto Inland Sea in the immediate vicinity.
However, there are a lot of passengers commuting to work or school because there are two high schools nearby and the bus route from here to Kumayama-cho, the former Sanyo-cho.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通学の思い出の場所。ロータリーもきれいになり、一時駐車も数台できます。有料駐車場もあります。駐輪場は付近にあちこちにあります。
ICOCAでピッとできます。ホーム間の橋もきれいになりエレベーターもついているようでした。待合にはエアコンが効いていると書いてありました。南口もできたんですね。熊山駅といい、山陽本線もきれいになりましたね。
ちょうど訪れた時に貨物の桃太郎が桃太郎を追い抜いているところで、子どもが喜んでいました。
ホーム柵はありません。トイレは内外にあります。
駅前のパン屋はなくなってました。近くに24時間のスーパーがあります。
古い町なので、付近の道は狭くなります。
