★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small yet detailed “Onsen” (hot spring) museum in the heart of a famous Onsen town (Gero).
Friendy staff with enough English ability to make you feel welcome, but technical information is limited to Japanese.
Some stuffed animals could interest young children for a few minutes but other than that not really a place kids would feel entertained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I good place where you can see beautiful Sakura trees and flowers on the entrance. There is a free hot spring pool for your feet just cross the street, and for free, you can enjoy the feet hot spring there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We didn't visit the museum. We just stop to enjoy one of the many open-air foot hot baths that was just in front of the museum. Water was very hot. Do be careful and not plunge your feet inside.
