★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「ちはやふる」ロケ地。映画で見た舞台がここにあります。また、ファンを喜ばせる工夫にも溢れてます。アニメキャラクターのパネルと一緒に撮影できたり、大判のかるた札を持って館内で撮影できたり。実際の競技かるたで出来たおみくじもありました。

「ちはやふる」の撮影現場にもなりました。
映画を観てから一度は近江神宮と近江勧学館に行きたいと思っていました。
ようやく念願叶いました。
宿泊研修施設なので旅行、合宿、研修、会議など、様々なシーンで利用できるそうです（ガイドブックより）。
グッズ販売、ロビーの横に良い写真が撮れそうな畳のセット、アニメ版のキャラクターがいたりします。
近くにある衣装部で着物レンタルが出来ます（1時間／1000円）。男女とも種類が豊富です。
着物を着て近江神宮の森を散策するのも良し、競技かるたの1シーンを再現するも良しです。
駐車場は付近に点在しています。通常はそちらで駐車可能かと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 毎年開催されている「カルタ大会」の場所で、映画「ちはやふる」のファンの人には人気の場所だと思います。
近江神宮の本殿からは少し離れているのですが、興味もあって行ってみました。
大きなカルタと一緒に写真を撮れるのが楽しかったです。
It's the place of the annual "Karuta Tournament", and I think it's a popular place for fans of the movie "Chihayafuru".
It's a little far from the main shrine of Omi Jingu, but I was interested in it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かるた聖地である大津市の勧学館。今回は近江神宮参拝にて、園内でそこから徒歩3~5分のこちらに伺いました(～17:00)。勧学館駐車場よりも近江神宮の参拝を念頭に近江神宮無料駐車場に停めた方が、理想的なルートかもしれません。
1Fにグッズ売場や、展示コーナーがあり、写真撮影できるプラカードやちはやふるキャラパネル、サイン色紙や歴代名人，クイーンの軌跡があります。
2Fは畳の会場でしたが、学生さんらが白熱練習されてましたので、お邪魔はしない様に立ち去りました。
Kangakukan in Otsu City, a sacred place for karuta. This time, when I visited Omi Jingu, I visited here in the park, which is a 3-5 minute walk (~ 17: 00). It may be an ideal route to park at the Omi Jingu free parking lot with the worship of Omi Jingu in mind rather than the Kangakukan parking lot.
There is a goods section and an exhibition corner on the 1st floor, and there are placards and Chihayafuru character panels where you can take pictures, autographed colored paper, successive masters, and the trajectory of Queen.
The 2nd floor was a tatami mat venue, but the students were practicing incandescently, so I left without disturbing them.

自分は全く知らなかったが、ここに来たのでちはやふるのマンガを読んでみようと思った。

「ちはやふる」で有名ですね。宿泊施設なので、カルタ部の合宿とかで利用されてます。
ちはやふるのパネルがいたるところに置いてあるが、正直映画やアニメ、漫画を見てる人とからしたら、その場の空気を感じたいのだろうから、そういう展示はエントランスだけで、中は何も置かないで、そのものを感じさせる空間にしていたほうがいいと思う。
吹き抜けの部分は、2階からカルタをやっているおとが聞こえ、映画のワンシーンにいるような体験ができる。
展示の仕方をもっと色々工夫すればもっと魅力的な観光スポットになるので、このブームを続けるためにも頑張ってもらいたい。

Chihayafuru panels are everywhere, but honestly, if you're watching movies, anime, or manga, you probably want to feel the atmosphere of the place, so that kind of exhibition is only at the entrance, and nothing inside. I think it's better not to put it in, but to make it a space where you can feel it.
In the atrium, you can hear an adult playing karuta from the second floor, and you can experience as if you were in a movie scene.
If you devise more ways of exhibiting, it will become a more attractive tourist spot, so please do your best to continue this boom.
