★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The host is very kind. We arrived just 10 minutes before the end of business hours, in a rainy and windy weather, with wetness from head to toe. They still accepted us and provided us the best unagi meals we've ever had. The Unagi was very fresh and delicious, dedicated made with Japanese spirit. Unforgettable experience of fine Japanese food.

1) They don't steam it but grill it, which gives it a more consistent texture and a stronger smoky aroma.
2) Although the price is standard for this specialty, the portions are a lot bigger.
The place has a cozy, homey atmosphere and the service is excellent. It tends to be crowded for lunch, but we were alone for dinner!
Absolutely recommendable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a favourite whenever we are in town. This time due to time and season, we only manage obento (takeout) menu. Turned out to be just as good. There's a smaller portion too which fit me well due to limited appetite. Friendly host as many noted.
