A mjor touristic site as the city is the first visited in Japan for its blooming cherry trees!
Equipped for limited mobility travelers.
For the railway buffs:
Kawazu Station was opened on December 10, 1961.
Kawazu Station has two elevated opposing side platforms serving two tracks. The platforms are connected by an underpass, and the station building is underneath the platforms and tracks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visit on Feb 18. Small station, surrounded by kawazusakura flower, near station you can easily find a 7eleven convenience store. But you can't find an english brochure at the tourist information there. Only a Google will help u to find some restaurant for lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great full bloom blossom street on feb. This station locate just 2 hr. from tokyo. Crowd on weekend, please book train ticket before coming. BTW food is strange for me.
