どんぶりから溢れんばかりのカツが乗ったカツ丼が人気です。
ラーメンもけして古臭くはないけど懐かしい味です。
両方を味わうために、カツ丼と小さめラーメンのセットも在りますが、結構なボリュームなので自信の在る方だけにお勧めです?

いつも行列が並ぶ上山田の伝説食堂❗️
縁が無いのかと諦めてましたが、この日は偶然行列がないではありませんか?。ソッコーで駐車場突入。さすがに店内のテーブル三つは満席でした。待つこと15分。やっと順番回ってきましたよ?。店内は昭和感丸出し。実に良い雰囲気ですよ?。オイラはラーメン。ツレはニンタレカツ定食。ラーメンは醤油味に細い縮れ麺。シナチクがたっぷりとチャーシュー2枚が郷愁を誘うまさに中華そば?。ニンタレは醤油にニンニクとニラを漬け込んだ特性ソース。これがまた食欲をそそります?。満足して外に出るといつもと変わらぬ大行列。並ぶ価値あるお店です。本当にごちそうさまでした?。

I gave up thinking that there was no connection, but I wonder if there was a line by chance on this day ?. Enter the parking lot at Sokko. As expected, the three tables in the store were full. 15 minutes to wait. It's finally turned around ?. The inside of the store is exposed to the Showa era. It's a really nice atmosphere ?. Oiler is ramen. The vine is a set meal of Nintale cutlet. Ramen is a thin curly noodle with a soy sauce flavor. Two char siu pork with plenty of synergy invites nostalgia, just Chinese noodles ?. Nintale is a characteristic sauce made by soaking garlic and garlic in soy sauce. This is also appetizing ?. When I was satisfied and went outside, there was a large line as usual. It is a store worth lining up. It was really a feast ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 上山田温泉で行列が出来る店の情報で、11時半開店で並びました。
店内、昭和食堂です。テーブルというより机です。ワンタン麺をいただきましたが、私には合わない麺でした。
一緒の人は、すごく美味しいとカツ卵とじ丼の味を喜んでいました。
あんな狭い席で相席、よっぽど好きなのでしょうか。

Inside the store, Showa Shokudo. It's a desk rather than a table. I had wonton noodles, but they didn't suit me.
The people with me were pleased with the taste of the cutlet egg and rice bowl when it was very delicious.
Do you really like the shared seats in such a small seat?

自分のご褒美ご飯。
どっしりとした米、甘めの出汁に新鮮な玉ねぎ。
カツも食べ応え抜群。ラーメンはほんとこうゆうので良いんだよラーメン。
14時くらいに行くとあまり待たずに食べられる。
Exquisite. Ramen and katsudon set.
Your own reward rice.
Thick rice, sweet soup stock and fresh onions.
Excellent response to eating cutlet. Ramen is really good, so it's good.
If you go around 14:00, you can eat without waiting too much.

信州ローカルの情報番組でも紹介された逸品。
ニンニクニラ醤油で白飯がすすむ進む！身体もポカポカ温まるし、めちゃめちゃ美味しい。
お店は、ザ・昭和の食堂。でもまたそれがいい！（テーブルが3卓だけなので混み合っている時は必然的に相席になります。） ご主人と女将さんも気さくな感じで楽しく食事できます。
千曲市に来たらまた寄りたい！
Nintale cutlet rice
A gem that was introduced in a local information program in Shinshu.
White rice goes on with garlic garlic soy sauce! The body warms up and it's really delicious.
The shop is the Showa cafeteria. But that's good again! (Since there are only 3 tables, it will inevitably be shared when it is crowded.) The husband and the landlady can enjoy eating with a friendly feeling.
I want to stop by again when I come to Chikuma City!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I stumbled into this restaurant almost by accident on an overnight trip to Nagano in 2018, and to this day it is still one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. I go to sleep and DREAM of that katsudon. We bring it up in conversation at least once a month. We're planning a trip back to Japan almost entirely to experience that food again.
Seriously, you owe it to yourself to make your way to this restaurant if you are going to be in the area. ごちそうさまでした！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best tonkatsu I’ve ever had. And I’ve been to many loved and pricier places. So good! The garlic’s soaked in soy sauce so the flavor is really strong. It’s served separately so you can control how much you wana eat it with your tonkatsu.
The place is small but with a few big tables so people share tables together. If you see people standing on the opposite side of the road to the shop, that’s a line.
Many people also had the ramen so I reckon it’s pretty good too.
Totally recommend if you’re in town.
