★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful local place to eat. We were staying at a guesthouse nearby and this was recommended to us. The portions are large and the food was delicious. So wonderful after a day of skiing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such an incredible spot if you’re looking for authentic Japanese. Travelling with one vegan, vegetarian and carnivore. We were super hungry post a ski tour day up Mt. Madarao and ordered a lot off the menu.
Favourites included the grilled eggplant with sweet miso, tempera vegetables, sansai soba, pork soy sauce ramen, gyoza, pickled vegetables, tofu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tempura soba, gyoza & ramen are just of the items on an extensive (English) menu. You can have a drink and watch the news or sport on the tv. Very friendly, smiley service. Large portions - Come hungry.
