★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019年10月訪問。絶景です！ただ、ここに来るのに「田沢湖展望台」という案内板はどこにもありません（展望台の現地にはある）。下の道の湖畔から800mほど手前（西）にある「かたまえ山森林公園」の表示に従って少し山に登った終点にあります。案内板の設置を望みます。
Visited in October 2019. It's a superb view! However, there is no information board called "Tazawako Observatory" to come here (it is on the site of the observatory). It is at the end of the mountain climbing a little according to the indication of "Mt. Katamae Forest Park" about 800m before (west) from the lakeside of the lower road. I would like to install an information board.
