開放式的吧台廚房，從廚師做菜的方式即可知道是天才型的廚師。
非常有邏輯、獨自一人沒有助手、簡潔俐落、沒有多餘的贅動、節奏流暢分明。
更令人感動的是價格！
法國餐館向來以不親民的姿態定價，在紐約、上海、香港一餐500美金以上比比皆是。
這個晚上，我們點了一瓶氣泡酒、三個前菜、兩個主菜、一份手工麵包，含稅加上服務費，總共 10400日幣。
誠心推薦饕客，去京都一定要拜訪GARGANTUA！
GARGANTUA is a small French restaurant (one chef and one waiter) served by only two people.

どの料理も季節感があり、とても美味しくいただけました。
野菜の産地にもこだわられているみたいで、お料理の説明の際に丁寧に教えてくれました。
二人で行ったのですが、前菜数品、メインを一品しか頼みませんでしたが嫌な顔一つされず、取り分けやすいように二人用にカットして提供くださいました。
ワインの種類が豊富でしたので、ワイン好きの方はぜひ！
グラスワインも３種から選ぶことができたので、手軽にも楽しめます。

繊細で上品なフレンチではなくBISTRO 的料理で味は濃いめで塩気強めの味付けが多い。
お酒を飲みながらなのでなんとか許容範囲に入るかな。
料理の素材、味そんなにクオリティ高くない割には料金高めでコスパは良くないと感じる。
