★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 説明によると、こちらの梅の木は家康を祀る久能山東照宮にある家康お手植えの梅の木から接ぎ木されたものだそうです。
確か浜松城には駿府城にあった家康お手植えの蜜柑から接ぎ木された蜜柑の木があったように思います。名古屋城は梅なのですね。
聞いた話では、少し前にこちらの梅の木が盗まれそうになったことがあるそうです。下手人は盗んで転売でもするつもりだったのでしょうか？やめてほしいですね。
しかしこの梅の木、１年ほど前は本当に小さな木でした。花もちらほらしか咲いていませんでした。しかし夏には若芽が驚くほどに四方八方に伸びていました。今は12月なので写真のような枯れ木ですが、来年2022年には沢山の花を咲かせるのでしょうか？楽しみにしています。
