★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice looking restaurant but definitely overpriced. I felt like the quality was good but the portions are way too small. So I'm wondering what do you pay for. The location is not even part of the price. Would recommend having the regular soba large size, which is probably the best bet there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great authentic place for a quick lunch. Seems to be frequented by locals (who know each other) and they know best! You have to get lucky or wait. It's pretty small and it was non-stop busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a westerner and new to Soba I am no expert but this was good food in an authentic atmosphere served by excellent staff. As it was cheaper than La Gavroche and no long waiting list I think it was great value. Locals love it, as the people next to us come regularly and rated it as number 1 in Tokyo.
