★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神社迄、坂を登って、本堂に到着。私は、その裏側に、樹木で囲まれてる、お堂、鳥居(石で出来てる)こちらの方が、神秘的に感じました。中央に、大きな木がありますが、根っこ側に手を組んでるかのように見えるのは、私だけでしょうか！是非是非、裏側迄、足を運ばれたら、向日神社の良さが見えるかも。
Climb the slope to the shrine and arrive at the main hall. Behind it, the temple and torii (made of stone) surrounded by trees felt more mysterious. There is a big tree in the center, but am I the only one who looks like I'm holding hands on the root side! By all means, if you go to the back side, you may see the goodness of Muko Shrine.

長い参道に風情を感じる。
新しく造られた休憩所やトイレが綺麗でとても良い。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今年も桜まつりは開催されませんでしたが、咲いた桜を見に来ようと訪れている方は沢山いらっしゃいました。夜の灯りに照らされて咲く桜も綺麗ですよ。
The Sakura Festival was not held this year either, but many people came to see the blooming cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms that bloom under the light of the night are also beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近所なので紅葉を見に朝行ってみました。まだ紅葉が始まったばかりで色付きはこれからといったところでした。来週あたり良いのかなと思います。
朝は人が少ないのでゆっくり見れますのでちょっとした散策におすすめです。
なお、近くに天文館があり、プラネタリウム上映もやってます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 紅葉だけではなく、10月咲くの桜も観られる、ちょっと広めの神社です。境内では天文館もありますが、訪ねる日は閉館直前のため、入れないけど、また今度ゆっくりプラネタリウム見てみたいと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 住宅街の中にあり、参道の長いのが印象的な、重要文化財の本殿を持つ神社。入口はそんなに目立たないが、ゆるやかな坂を上り前方に伸びる景色は街中の異空間の風情あり。この参道は自動車通行可で地域住民の生活道路になっていて、保育園・小学校が両隣にあり子供たちの声が絶えない。春は桜?秋は紅葉?の名スポットらしいが、今年はまだ早かったようだ。灯りが入ると神楽殿が美しい、休憩所やトイレもキレイに整備されていて隠れた観光スポット。本殿裏側の奥は崖になっていて結構高台にあるのに驚く。昔からある町の落ち着ける空間。乙訓景観十景のひとつ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 向日市の競輪場横にある古い神社です。主祭神は大歳神なので出雲系です。この神社の横に元稲荷古墳があります。前方後円墳です。大和朝廷と関係があるのでは？少し前でしたら紅葉も綺麗だったでしょう。
It is an old shrine next to the bicycle race track in Muko City. Since the main deity is Otoshigami, it is an Izumo system. Next to this shrine is the Motoise Kono Shrine. It is a front and back burial mound. Is it related to the Yamato court? The autumn leaves would have been beautiful a while ago.
