★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長岡天神駅から徒歩15分強。少し歩いただけで立派な水田が広がっていることにちょっと驚く。その一角、マンション前の駐車場敷地入り口にさりげなく今里城の説明看板が出ている。
開田城と違い、今里城には土塁の痕跡など城を思わせるものは何一つない。ただ、説明書きの看板が平成30年版に更新されていたので、何か発掘品や新情報があれば一応気を使っているのかもしれない。
15 minutes walk from Nagaoka Tenjin station. I am a little surprised that the magnificent paddy fields are spreading just by walking a little. At the corner of it, there is a signboard of Imazato Castle casually at the entrance of the parking lot in front of the apartment.
Unlike Kaita Castle, Imazato Castle has no trace of the earthworks and reminiscent of the castle. However, since the signboard with the explanation was updated to 2018 version, if there is any excavated product or new information, it may be that I am using it.
