★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 嵐電こと、京福電気鉄道嵐山線の撮影ポイントとして知られています。ここでは、嵐電だけでなく、京都市営バス?と京都バスも狙って撮影できるのが楽しみですね。
It is known as the shooting point of the Arashiyama Line on the Keifuku Electric Railway, Arashiden. I'm looking forward to shooting not only the Randen, but also the Kyoto City Bus and Kyoto Bus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 嵐山方面と四条大宮方面でホームが千鳥状に配置されています。嵐山方面のホームには、ＬＥＤの電光掲示が設置されましたが、四条大宮方面に向かうホームは道路上に歩道みたいなのが設置されているだけです。電車から降りると、勢いあまって車道上に行ってしまいそうなので、四条大宮方面のホームは柵がついています。
電車が路面を走るのは、京都でもこの付近だけになっていることと、線路がカーブしていてきれいに写真におさまるため、西大路通を渡る嵐電を撮影しようとするカメラマンをよく見かけます。
Homes are arranged in a staggered pattern in the direction of Arashiyama and Shijo Omiya. LED home signs were installed at the Arashiyama area, but the platform heading towards Shijo Omiya is just like a sidewalk on the road. When you get off the train, it is likely that you will get on the roadway and the platform for Shijo Omiya is fenced.
The train runs on the road only in Kyoto, and many photographers try to shoot Randen crossing Nishioji Road because the tracks are curved and fit in the pictures neatly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅のある場所（位置）に注意⚠️してください。駅の位置が嵐山方面・四条大宮方面とでは、異なります。
まず、嵐山方面への駅は、西大路三条の南東側にあり、屋根もあり普通の駅ですが、西院、大宮方面への駅は西大路三条の交差点をはさんで逆方向西北側の三条通の道路上にあります。所謂、中央分離帯的な道路より数十センチメートルだけ高くなっている場所が駅です。
?電車の乗降口と段差があり、苦労します。もちろん、屋根などはありません。さらにフェンスも何も無くて危ないです。そして、すぐ横をクルマが通ります。
乗るときもですが、電車から降りる時には特にクルマに注意してください！
