For the day it’s was 13$ . Pretty cheap and it’s the best way to move around Kyoto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the Kamo River bank near Sanjo station, overlooking the Kyoto district of Pontocho where delicious restaurants and bars open up for business. Tempted to cycle down this entire stretch, which would have the better to do cycling in Kyoto. This would have been nice ride, instead of crazy battling of distance if you were to cycle someplace else, say, to Arasiyama or something crazy like that.

The station have 100 yen shop, fruit and vegetable shop, bakery, etc. You can go to main shoping street, Sanjo and Teramachi, by walk.
