★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3/5に妻と泊まりました。当日、時間が空いたので隣の県からアクセスもよく、ドライブがてらに予約しました。初めての利用でしたが、結果、大正解。お風呂も、部屋も、お食事も大満足。通常コースの夕食でしたがどれも美味しく、陶板焼きの牛肉が、とても美味しかったです。館内のサービスも、ここにこれがあったら、という所に配慮があり、もてなしも良かったです。帰りの朝、大雪でしたが、車の雪落としもして頂きありがたかったです。必ずまた来ます。
 I stayed with my wife on 3/5. Since I had free time on the day, it was easy to access from the neighboring prefecture, so I made a reservation for a drive. It was my first time to use it, but as a result, it was a great answer. I am very satisfied with the bath, the room, and the food. It was a regular course dinner, but they were all delicious, and the beef grilled on a ceramic plate was very delicious. As for the service in the hall, there was consideration for the place where this was here, and the hospitality was also good. It was a heavy snowfall on the morning of my return, but I was grateful for the snow removal from my car. I will definitely come again.

◆夕食
福島出張二日目のこの日は会津若松は東山温泉の「新滝」さんにお世話になりました。
雪深い温泉街の川沿いにある情緒あるお宿です。
楽しみの夕飯は館内の「ダイニング會」さんでいただきました。
先付け、やさい、煮物、焼物、椀もの、ご飯、デザートとかなりのボリュームですが、雰囲気良いレストランで日本酒と合わせて美味しくいただきました。
お部屋も一人では勿体ないくらいの部屋と景色。お風呂も三箇所あり渓流を眺めながらの露天風呂は最高です。
◆朝食
朝早めに目が覚め、三箇所ある露天風呂を二つ梯子してお腹を空かせ万全な状態で朝食会場に向かいます。
朝食は夕食をいただいた館内のレストラン「ダイニング會」さんでいただきました。
席は自由ということで雪景色が見える窓際のカウンター席をキープ。
ブッフェコーナーはかなり充実していて、いろいろな食事やスイーツが所狭しと並んでいます。卵焼きはライブキッチン風に目の前で次々と焼いてくれます。東北ならではの甘い卵焼きはやっぱり美味しくて好きな味です。
いつものように食事は野菜、卵料理、お魚中心に軽く済ませて、お楽しみのスイーツメインでいただきました。
スイーツはお団子やフレンチトースト、クリームブリュレなど種類も豊富です。お腹いっぱい朝から和洋折衷スイーツをいただき大満足でした！

◆ Dinner
On this day, the second day of my business trip to Fukushima, Aizu Wakamatsu was taken care of by Mr. Shintaki of Higashiyama Onsen.
It is an inn with an atmosphere along the river in a snowy hot spring town.
We had a fun dinner at "Dining Kai" in the hall.
It's a lot of volume, such as pre-prepared, easy, boiled, grilled, bowl, rice, and dessert, but it was delicious with Japanese sake at a restaurant with a good atmosphere.
The room and the view are too much for one person. There are three baths, and the open-air bath with a view of the mountain stream is the best.
◆ Breakfast
Wake up early in the morning and head to the breakfast venue in perfect condition with two ladders of three open-air baths to make you hungry.
Breakfast was served at the restaurant "Dining Kai" in the hotel where we had dinner.
Since the seats are free, keep the counter seats by the window where you can see the snowy landscape.
The buffet corner is quite substantial, and various meals and sweets are lined up in a narrow space. Eggs are baked one after another in front of you like a live kitchen. The sweet egg grilled in Tohoku is delicious and I like it.
As usual, I had a light meal with vegetables, egg dishes, and fish, and enjoyed the main sweets.
There are many types of sweets such as dumplings, French toast, and cream brulee. I was very satisfied with the Japanese and Western eclectic sweets from the morning when I was full!

It goes without saying that hot springs are really great, as to breakfast, which makes the most of the taste of local ingredients, they are really amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service here was good and the room was spacious.There are multiple onsen to try out, a library to relax in with complimetary coffee and local sake tasting, a ping pong table that can be reserved in 30 minute slots, a small gift shop with locally made goods, a fantastic dining area with high quality food a sake bar and much more. I will definitely stay here again.くつろぎはすてきなホテルでした。サービスと部屋も料理が良かったてす。また、来ます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kutsurogijuku Shintaki in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima embodies authentic rustic charm.
I stayed here for three nights and didn’t get any meals, which I didn’t regret. I had a car so I went out every day and found great stuff to eat, especially Kitakata ramen ?, which is famous for good reasons. The first morning I was here I took a walk down the road and went off the beaten path. Climbing up some abandoned stairs that don’t get much use, I encountered this bear cub who was so cute. Still, I knew better than to linger for long because the mama bear was probably nearby and would have utterly destroyed me if I had blocker her access to her darling cub.
The hotel is really nice. Old and historical. There are two hot springs and they are quite lovely. Relaxing and unique in their own ways. I spent a lot of time in both of them.
The one that looks out over the river is quite special. I’ve never been anywhere quite like it. I went to one down in Izu where you look out at a waterfall but I like the flowing river as well. The other one is wonderful on a rainy night like tonight.
The staff was very kind to me. The parking situation is a little bit tough. The property is nestled up against a mountain and a river so their space is at a premium. I understand their concerns.
I got a good deal online, which required me to check in late and check out early which I don’t mind at all. I will happily come back here again with my family and at that time I will make sure to try the delicious food which is also highly rated.
It’s nice to see local hotels like this thriving. There are many hotels around it which don’t seem to be doing as well but this one is a keeper. Thank you ???
