The only down side is that if the restaurant is full and everyone is cooking by their hot plate, there will be a lot smoke and the hair/clothes will become pretty smelly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We picked this place as it had the longest line of people trying to get a taste of their monja. It was very good. It does get very smoky as you cook monja right in front of you, so you might want to avoid it if you are dressed up for another party later on. The menu variety is pretty much based on the types of ingredients to put in monja. If you are the first timer, they are happy to cook it for you, so just ask.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good Monja (think okonomiyaki but soupey), decent portion, good ingredients. The restaurant is super smokey, but they give you a plastic bag to put your jacket in (I still left smelling like Monja). The price was about 1400円 per bowl. Good service, but very loud restaurant.
