当初は終日一人勤務で、日中帯も細切れに窓口閉鎖時間が設定されていたが、要員が増やされたため現在は解消されている
始発から6時30分までは改札業務を行わない
みどりの窓口（営業時間 6時30分～21時00分）・自動券売機（3台）・自動改札機・自動精算機（1台）があり、いずれもSuica対応。有人改札とみどりの窓口はカウンター化されている。また改札内にキオスクがある

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元気フィールド、仙台市民球場、ヨークベニマル、東北学院、ミヤギテレビ、病院等が近くにあり、大変便利です。
小鶴新田駅も比較的新しいので、綺麗な環境です。
Genki Field, Sendai Municipal Baseball Stadium, York-Benimaru, Tohoku Gakuin, Miyagi Television, Hospital, etc. are nearby and very convenient.
Kozuru Nitta Station is relatively new, so it is a beautiful environment.
