菅	菅原裕介 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この[あおば通]駅は､東日本大震災より丁度11年前の2000年3月11日の仙石線の陸前原ノ町までの地下化に併せて延伸開業した新たな地下鉄との接続駅｡本来､仙台市営地下鉄も仙台にも乗り入れていますが､実はここより新幹線の仙台駅よりやや離れており､JR側と地下鉄側の駅の移動が困難でした｡しかし､この[あおば通駅]の開業で､地下鉄との乗り換えがシームレスに移動できるほか､仙台および仙石線方面から(へ)途中下車せずに行き来できました｡また､仙台駅への連絡通路も開通しているため､徒歩移動も出来ます｡因みに仙石線の地下化と当駅の延伸により､従来の地上の迂回区間の解消で営業距離が仙台~石巻間50.3kmから､あおば通~石巻間50.2kmに短縮されました｡なお石巻までの所要時間は特別快速で52分､快速で57分でしたが､2015年の[仙石東北ライン]の開業により､この駅から全区間を行く快速運転は過去の運用となり､現在は各駅停車のみとなりましたが､高城町行は主に[仙石東北ライン]の接続列車としての機能があります｡ This [Aoba-dori] station is a connection station with a new subway that was extended and opened in conjunction with the underground construction of the Senseki Line to Rikuzen-Haranomachi on March 11, 2000, just 11 years before the Great East Japan Earthquake. The time required to reach Ishinomaki was 52 minutes for the special rapid service and 57 minutes for the rapid service, but with the opening of the [Senseki-Tohoku Line] in 2015, rapid operation from this station to the entire section has become a past operation and is now in operation. Only local trains stop, but the Takagimachi line mainly functions as a connecting train for the [Sengoku Tohoku Line].
