★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 最近駅構内と駅前が綺麗になり舗装され昔の東仙台駅を思い出させる要素がないので忘れてしまいそうですが〜仙台駅から1駅と住みやすく立地も良いような？？
駅から1歩出ると風景が昔のままで一昔風な印象深い感じがしますね(*´^`)
あまり騒動がない町でしたが〜ついこの間…東仙台派出所で事件が起こり凄くビックリしました(∩º﹏º∩)そういう事が本当になく、偶に変なオジさんがウロウロしていたりと…してるので周りに人の目があれば改善されていくのでもし良ければ〜変な人がいないか見てくれると嬉しいかなぁ〜と感じつつ(｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

If you step out from the station, the scenery is old and you will feel an old-fashioned impression (* '^ `)
It was a town without much turmoil-just in the meantime ... The incident occurred at the Higashi Sendai Police Station and I was very surprised (∩º﹏º∩) There was really no such thing, and a strange Oji was wandering around ... If there are people's eyes around, it would be better if it would be better to see if there was a strange person.

当駅で東北本線と貨物支線（通称：宮城野貨物線）が合流する。また、松島駅から分岐する支線を経由して仙石線へ直通する仙石東北ラインの列車も、東北本線内各駅停車となる快速（緑快速）に限り停車する
1909年（明治42年）10月18日：苦竹信号所として開設
ホーム等の設備は無かったが旅客の乗降が可能であった
1932年（昭和7年）7月25日：東仙台駅として開業
1941年（昭和16年）3月：駅舎改築
1987年（昭和62年）4月1日：国鉄分割民営化により、JR東日本の駅となる
2003年（平成15年）
3月6日：自動改札機導入
10月26日：ICカード「Suica」サービスが開始。
2008年（平成20年）3月14日：ホームにエレベーターが設置され、供用を開始した
2013年（平成25年）4月1日：直営駅（岩切駅所属東仙台駅在勤）から業務委託駅（JR東日本東北総合サービス）となる
2015年（平成27年）
5月30日：同日開業の仙石東北ラインのうち、東北本線内各駅停車タイプの快速（緑快速）の停車駅となる
9月5日：旧駅舎での営業を終了
仮設駅舎での営業となる
2016年（平成28年）2月28日：新駅舎の営業を開始
Higashi Sendai Station is a station on the East Japan Passenger Railway (JR East) Tohoku Main Line, located at Higashi Sendai 1-chome, Miyagino-ku, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
At this station, the Tohoku Main Line and the Freight Branch Line (commonly known as Miyajino Freight Line) merge. In addition, trains of the Sengoku Tohoku Line that directly connect to the Sengoku Line via a branch line branching off from Matsushima Station will stop only at high speed (green speed) where each station in the Tohoku Main Line stops.
October 19th 1909 (Meiji 42): Opened as Mikitake signal station
There were no facilities such as home, but it was possible for passengers to get on and off.
July 25, 1932 (Showa 7): Opened as Higashi Sendai Station
March 1941 (Showa 16): Reconstruction of station building
April 1, 1987: JNR will be JR East's station by privatization of JNR
2003 (2003)
March 6: Automatic ticket gate introduced
October 26: IC card "Suica" service started.
March 14th, 2008: Elevator was installed at home and started service
April 1, 2013: From directly managed station (Iwakiri Station affiliation Higashi Sendai Station working) it becomes a business consignment station (JR East Tohoku comprehensive service)
2015 (2015)
May 30: Of the Sengoku Tohoku Line opened on the same day, it will be the rapid (green rapid) stopping station for each station in the Tohoku Main Line.
September 5: End sales at the old station building
Become a sales office at a temporary station building
February 28, 2016: Launched sales of new station building
