泉	泉澤栄一 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京都女子大のすぐ隣。意外なほど堂々たるお寺だった。本堂など建物の大半が暫定文化財に指定されている。門は閉まっていたが住職さんに開けて入れて頂いた。写真の撮りがいもあるが、剪定業者が入っていて作業されていた。 Right next to the Kyotojoshidai. 8	83 Koichi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鎌倉時代初期に九条兼実が法然上人を招き創建した浄土宗のお寺です。東大路から坂を１０分以上登っていくと立派な楼門が見えます。保育園と併設されており、朝早かったので、門を開けて境内に入りました。本堂も鉄柵がありますが、鍵が開いており入れます。堂内には、法然上人自ら彫ったといわれる上人像が安置されています。法然上人が讃岐に流される時はここから出立しており、法然上人二十五霊跡の一つです。 It is a temple of the Jodo sect built by Kanemi Kujo in the early Kamakura period, inviting Honen superiors. h	hayabusa22 kensan26 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 九条家の寄進もあり、江戸時代の享保年間に北野天満宮近くから当地に移築されたと聞く。平安末期、小松殿（平重盛）の邸宅で、後に九条兼実公 [玉葉の記述者] が館とされた。兼実公は法然師に深く帰依され、讃岐流罪法難の時も、庇護に努められた。この御三人は末法思想の時代に生きられた良識波として、今日の日本人の心得になっていると私は思います。鴨川畔から標高差50ｍくらい高いこの地は東海道(三条通)の南にある主要街道(渋谷街道)で、高低差はあるが近江への最短道でもある。立派な山門をくぐり、駐車場を過ぎて、右に保育園の入り口が有るが、手前の庫裡で参拝の申し出をして、本堂を拝観させていただきました。(拝観無料) 境内には遊具などもあり、普段の京都の寺院としての親しを感じます。観光整備された諸所とは、別の風情があり、好きです。本堂の法然像は慈悲に満ちた御姿で、冷静さを促される様でした。 With the donation of the Kujo family, I hear that it was relocated here from near Kitano Tenmangu during the Kyoho period of the Edo period. I like it because it has a different atmosphere from the places where tourism is maintained. The statue of Honen in the main hall was full of mercy and seemed to encourage calmness.
