吉	吉佐美さき on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 慈光院のお庭をお茶菓子と抹茶頂いたあとに歩いてみました。スリッパがありますのでそちらを利用してお庭へ出れます。綺麗に整備されていて、境内の河津桜が一本咲いていました。 I walked after having tea cake and matcha in the garden of Jikoin. There are slippers so you can use them to get out of the garden. It was beautifully maintained, and one Kawazu cherry tree in the grounds was in bloom.

円	円座厚司 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 慈光院は小泉藩主片桐貞昌(石州)により、寛文3年(1663)の創建で、庭園は石州の作庭で数年後に完成したそうです。庭は椿・皐月・梔子などの大刈込からなる書院式枯山水だそうで、奈良盆地と東の山々を借景にしているのだそうです。 Jikoin was founded by the Koizumi feudal lord Sadamasa Katagiri (Ishishu) in Kanbun 3rd year (1663). The garden is said to be a Shoin-style dry landscape consisting of large pruning such as camellia, Satsuki, and gardenia.
