神戸市中央区にある石碑。市立神戸中学校の西端に建つ石碑。
平成２年(1990)３月建立。
●歩道に面して配されている。ほぼ同じ大きさのブロンズプレートが２枚上下にある。上部プレートには題名に加えて校章が見える。
開校 明治１７年１２月１２日
閉校 平成 ２年 ３月３１日
下部のプレートには校歌が記されている。
跡地だが、題は発祥の地としたようだ。此処から北側３百メートル程には「神戸市立こうべ小学校」が在る。そちらに統廃合となったのだろう。跡地を中学校の新校舎に充てたようだ。
兵庫県公館に近い。歩道の際に在る。広い敷地ではないが植栽もあって落ち着いた佇まいだ。耐久性があり読み易く良い石碑だ。
■ Birthplace of Kobe Elementary School
A stone monument in Chuo-ku, Kobe. A stone monument at the western end of Municipal Kobe Junior High School.
Built in March 1990.
● It is arranged facing the sidewalk. There are two bronze plates of approximately the same size on the top and bottom. In addition to the title, the school emblem can be seen on the upper plate.
Opened December 12, 1897
Closed school March 31, 1990
The school song is written on the lower plate.
Although it is a former site, the title seems to be the birthplace. "Kobe Elementary School" is located about 300 meters north of here. It must have been consolidated and abolished there. It seems that the site was used for a new junior high school building.
Close to Hyogo Prefectural Government Building. It's on the sidewalk. Although it is not a large site, it has a calm appearance due to planting. It is a durable, easy-to-read stone monument.
