★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いかにも地元名士の屋敷といった風情で、数年前から日高市が整備しつつ一般公開を行っている。公開日程や公開範囲などは段階的に拡大しているが、今のところ見学者が入れるのは土間まで。公開日には地元ボランティアガイドがおり、説明を受けることができる。
巾着田の“紐”の位置を占める県道を跨いだ台地上にあり、さらに石垣で土台を築いているため、庭からでも視点が高く見晴らし抜群。巾着田の形状もよく分かります。
駐車場は巾着田の方へ。
