車で渡るとガタガタ音が響くことが、この名の由来。
自分の記憶にあるだけで過去三回は台風被害で流されてます。
Known as the rattling bridge.
The origin of this name is that it makes a rattling sound when you cross by car.
Just in my memory, I have been swept away by typhoons three times in the past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この橋は住民の方々の為の生活用に便宜的に造られた簡易な橋です。ひとたび上流に大雨が降れば 水嵩は橋を越えますし 流木や岩石混じりの流水は非常に危険です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ すれ違い不可の交互通行な橋はまあまあよくあるけれど、ここまで狭小で板敷ゆえの耐荷重の低いレトロな橋は、現代においてそうお目にかかれるものではないと思う。規格上はコンパクトカーまででギリという感じだけど、車両の通行は行政的にあまりおすすめできないらしい。
Alternating bridges that cannot pass each other are fairly common, but I think retro bridges that are so narrow and have a low load capacity due to planks are not so common in modern times. According to the standard, it seems that even compact cars are barely finished, but it is administratively not recommended to drive vehicles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019年の大型台風の影響で橋が崩壊したようで、通行止めのバリケードが設置されていました。この橋の近くの河川敷でバーベキューや川遊びをすることが出来ましたが、2019年12月時点では立ち入ることができません。
平日はとても静かな場所で気に入っていたので残念です。
It seems that the bridge collapsed due to the large typhoon in 2019, and a roadblock was installed. Although we were able to have a barbecue and play in the river near the bridge, it is not possible to enter as of December 2019.
It's a shame because I liked it in a very quiet place on weekdays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019年秋の台風で橋が流されてしまったようです。2021年12月28日まで工事をする予定と看板に書いてありました。近くに綺麗なトイレとハイキングマップがあります

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 橋が流されてからは、水の中を歩いて渡っていました。こんな場所に本格的な橋を架けなくても、浮橋などでいいからもっと早く通れるようにして欲しいです。
2022.4.1追記
もう完成しているだろうと思って行ったらまだ工事していました。看板に7月29日完成と書かれていましたが、「下部工」だそうなので、もっと長い時間がかかりそうです。こんな小さな橋を直すのにいったい何年かかるのでしょう。大丈夫なのか、日高市。

I thought it would be completed, but it was still under construction. The sign said that it would be completed on July 29th, but it seems that it will take a longer time because it is a "substructure". How many years will it take to fix such a small bridge? Is it okay, Hidaka City?
