フランスのYouTubeにも紹介された居酒屋 松江の居酒屋味はここにあり 松江の老舗居酒屋。創業50年 泊まったホテルの近くを歩いているとかなり味のある居酒屋発見。入ってみると大当たりです。かなり味のある&年季の入った店内。10人くらいで満員です。 伺った際には横にフランス人の若者。いろいろと話を聞くと川京さんはフランスの有名なYouTuberに紹介されているそうでフランス人の来店がかなりあるそうです。メニューも松江のシジミやうなぎのたたきなどなど様々な珍味が楽しめます。お酒はシジミの焼酎などここでしか飲むことのできないものもあります。店内はかなりクセがありますが出張で松江に来た際はこちらのお店、おすすめです。

地元の食材を使った料理が中心で、美味しくいただけます。お酒も地元のお酒が揃っています。店主さん女将さん若女将さんの人柄もよく、何度も使いたいお店と思いました。

This family run izakaya specializes in the 7 famous foods of the lake area. The daughter of the owners did a great job translating the menu, and even instructions for how to eat the fish in paper dish that wasn't so obvious. I liked that they also had homemade umeshu (plum wine). The unagi tataki was perhaps the best eel I've tried with great seasoning. Good atmosphere, fresh local food and welcoming staff made this a highight of my Matsue trip.

The hoshoyaki, unagi tadaki, sashimi (with crab legs), and fried shrimps were all super delicious. Although we spoke limited japanese, the english menu was well translated, and the service was splendid. If you like seafood and want to try some local drinks (地酒), this is a must-go place in Matsue. We accidentally left a pair glasses there, but it was returned to us the next morning (the chef remembered where we were staying and made a call to our hotel!) along with a pack of local delicacy. Reservation is recommended as the place has limited bar seating (~9 people at max) and is usually packed with people.
