★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restrauant in an small alleyway. The pork cutlet rice is nice and simple. Taste like home cooked food. The restrauant itself have a nice retro ambience and charm. Be prepare to queue as shop has limited seats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just what we were after. A nice, quiet restaurant in the middle of busy Osaka. We spent about 800 yen each for a meal, and it was the best Katsu Curry I’ve had. The menu is small, but all the options look good. We arrived at about 6:30pm on a Friday and had no wait time to be seated. Food arrived in about 10 minutes, and we had a complimentary iced tea to sip on when we arrived. The restaurant is very small, so it can be easy to miss. Wouldn’t suit large groups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is tucked away in a side street of Dotonburi. It's like a secret alley filled with a lot of yummy restaurants. The restaurant itself is very small with only three people working. They only have counter seats, so it's not good for group dining. I had their Curry Katsudon. It was nice and juicy without being too oily. The rice was perfect, and the curry was very flavorful. They have an English menu, but the process are on the Japanese menu. You have to pay before you eat. Overall, a good meal for a reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little hole in the wall restaurant! It's like stepping back into the past! This restaurant is located in a quiet street away from the mad hustle and bustle of the throngs of tourists and it is a nice place to take refuge after squeezing through the crowds!
There's an English menu avaliable if you don't read Japanese. There's also recommended dishes on the menu in case you can't decide what to order.
My meal was ¥700 which consists of ice tea, a curry katsu rice bowl and unlimited pickles.
Highly recommended place!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have dreams of this place it is soooo good!! I can't even tell you how perfectly delicious and satisfying this restaurant is. I got the katsudon while my boyfriend got the katsu curry don and we almost ordered a second round because we couldn't decide who's was better but we were too stingy to share!! ?
If I am ever back in Osaka, this is definitely on the list of must eats!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here for a quick dinner around 7pm, as they were closing at 8pm. The two people working, who I assume were the owners, were so nice! The food was amazing. We got the double egg/double pork to split. If you like your katsu crispy, just know that this will be soaked in the broth and lose the crunch. Even so, the flavor was amazing. My husband says it was one of his favorite meals in Osaka. The owners even sent us home with a 2022 calendar as a gift!! So sweet.
