★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just discovered Matsunoya. Never seen any in Tokyo. I love tonkatsu. Honestly, for 600 YEN you get a great meao that you will not find anywhere in Osaka. I noticed Osaka is more expensive when it comes to food than Tokyo. So to get a decent meal for under 1000 yen is very hard to find. The quality of their tonkatsu is a lot better than places you pay double or more for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is tasty and it's cheap. Sometimes I feel it could do with some better cleaning as the surfaces can be a little dirty, but mostly it's a good place for a cheap meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I came here at 9.30pm, super hungry. The food was exactly what we were looking for and as displayed on the ticket machine. The portion sizes were very generous and the price is equally reasonable. We were given our food quickly and well-presented. Absolutely delicious and there is no reason for this establishment not to receive 5 stars. Excellent meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is truly a hidden gem! If you're in around the nearby train station and are hungry, this no frills, large portion, cheap as chips Tonkastsu is to worth every cent. If I lived in Osaka this would be the restaurant on the top of my Uber eats list.
