★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a local, but we really enjoyed our experience here. They have an English menu, which helps, but it's still an adventure if you don't speak Japanese and are unfamiliar with cooking Okonomiyaki (yes, you cook your own food). The stagf os teally friendly and helpful. We watched nearby tables and made our own Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba. It was delicious.

A side note for your jacket and clothes as it is like indoor BBQ place. Clothes will get smelly but it is a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place tried to turn us away because we are foreigners until the guy realized one of us could speak Japanese and let us stay. The place has bad ventilation and is quite hot. The okonomiyaki was great but no excuse for not wanting foreign customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place for local BBQ, okonomiyaki and oyster! Super yummy food, very friendly and good looking chef :) we like this place very much although it is just a small shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not a fan of this kind of food like monjayaki or okonomiyaki but still tried it in several places and would tell this place is just very simple one but still packed well with many ppl. So there is some Japanese vibes in what is very cool. But to get back for food-I wont do that.
Despite on this they got some English menu and good speaking waiter
