This is the only place where you can overlook Morioka, so it's perfect for sightseeing!
m	michi nishi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 晴れの日は抜群のスポットだと思います。盛岡の街を一望できて更に岩手山などの山々、景色を独り占めできます。ちなみに訪れた時は誰もいませんでした。こんなに良い所はなかなかないんじゃないかなぁ I think it is an excellent spot on a sunny day. You can overlook the city of Morioka and you can even take over the mountains and scenery such as Iwate mountain. By the way, no one was there when I visited. I guess there aren't many places like this
H	Hiroyuki Takisawa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 盛岡市を一望する目的なら一番の展望台です。改修されきれいになりました。明るくなって安全性も向上したと思います。ただ展望台への階段は暗く、あがったところで段差があるため夜景を見に行く際には足元に注意が必要です。踊り場には銅像がたっており、そこからも違った角度で盛岡市を見ることができます。岩山展望台の駐車場、トイレ他施設がすぐ近くにあります。直ぐ側には遊歩道もあり、山を見ながら散策することもできます。夜景を見るのであれば秋頃の6時前後がおすすめです。夜景がきれいなのは良いのですが、夜に行くと若干マナーの良くない人が多いのが気になることがあります。 It is the best observatory for the purpose of overlooking Morioka city. However, the stairs to the observatory are dark, and there are steps at the top, so you need to be careful about your feet when you go to see the night view. There is also a promenade on the immediate side, and you can take a walk while looking at the mountains. If you want to see the night view, we recommend around 6 o'clock in autumn. It is good that the night view is beautiful, but when you go to the night, you may be worried that there are many people with slightly bad manners.
