Must try dishes:
Housemade fried tofu;
Mi, the chicken screwer (use locally raised chicken);
Wasabi chicken screwer wrapped in Japanese mint (shiso);
Chicken neck screwer;
Miso marinated pork screwer
What I really like about this place is that they timed the preparation perfectly, and served you one order of Yakitori at a time to make sure you enjoy each screwer while it was freshly prepared and hot.
It does not have English Menu, but a few staff could speak a little bit English, and they are very patient and friendly. If you can't speak Japanese, bring an online translator or dictionary would be ideal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old school feel with dark red booth seats to complement the standard bar seats in any typical Izakaya. Staff are nice and friendly. No English menus, but staff do know a little English and menus come with pictures which helps a lot!! Yakitori skewers are generally nice but there are better ones out there.
The fried tofu (atsuage) is the winner and very popular! As was the tofu skin wrapped with chicken and shiso leaf.
I would recommend you to visit, if you are in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wasn't allowed in because we were foreigners. Waitress said the place was fully booked although the Japanese couple bfore us got seated right away. 1 star for leaving with oily-smelling clothes and the blatant racism that we weren't expecting :(
If you're a foreigner, maybe try going there during their less busy hours?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dark style bar with lots of smoke from grill. It is a smoking joint so if you're sensitive to smoke this is NOT your place. There's no English menu so tonight it'll be a mystery dinner for our group. Google translate doesn't work well...fyi
End up grabbing dinner somewhere else because they were all small dishes. Tab came out to be $80 for four people.
