O	Ono Nobuyoshi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 上田電鉄別所線で訪れ、別所温泉の寺社巡りをしました。茅葺き屋根の立派な本堂に圧倒されます。そして樹齢350年という「御船ノ松」の枝ぶり、大きさにも驚かされます。重要文化財の「石造多宝塔」は緑苔におおわれながらもひっそりと建っていました。ちょうど「太陽と大地の聖地」日本遺産認定1周年ということで、案内ボランティアの方がおり説明をいただきました。御朱印も直書きでいただきました。 I visited by Ueda Dentetsu Bessho Line and visited the temples and shrines of Bessho Onsen. 七	七面鳥放浪記 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 別所温泉の外れにある、北向観音の本坊です。北向観音ほどのにぎわいも、国宝の八角三重塔を擁する安楽寺ほどの見ごたえもなく、所蔵する国指定文化財がこじんまりとした石造多宝塔のみという地味な寺院ですが、遠路はるばる訪れるほどの見ごたえはなくとも、別所温泉まで来たなら素通りするにはもったいない名所です。上田電鉄の別所温泉駅から別所温泉に向かう途中、八角屋根の七苦難地蔵尊の手前を右に曲がれば常楽寺への参道となります。曲がらずにさらに進むと左手に北向観音の参道入口を示す冠木門があります。先述の石造多宝塔はものすごく地味ですが、そうではあっても確かな見ごたえです。本堂もなかなかのもので、その左手前にある「御舟の松」は、樹勢の衰えが感じられるものの、見事な枝ぶりゆえ一見の価値があります。北向観音からも安楽寺からも余裕の徒歩圏なので、あわせての参拝をお勧めします。 This is the Honbo of Kitamuki Kannon, located on the outskirts of Bessho Onsen. It is not as busy as Kitamuki Kannon, but not as impressive as Anrakuji Temple, which has an octagonal triple tower, which is a national treasure. If you come to Bessho Onsen, it's a wasteful place to pass by. On the way from Bessho Onsen Station of Ueda Dentetsu to Bessho Onsen, turn right in front of the octagonal roof of the Seven Hardships Jizoson and you will reach Jorakuji Temple. If you go further without turning, you will see the Kannon Gate on your left, which indicates the entrance to the approach to Kitamuki Kannon. The stone Tahoto mentioned above is extremely plain, but even so, it looks solid. The main hall is also quite good, and the "Mifune no Matsu" on the left front is worth a visit because of the splendid branching, although the tree vigor seems to be declining. It is within walking distance from both Kitamuki Kannon and Anrakuji, so we recommend that you visit there as well.

H	H. I. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went by rental car. Beautiful traditional Japanese buildings and shrines. Nice tea houses and restaurants so can spend a day here and can get lost so take your time. Lots of hills and stairs. Worth the visit.
