信州最古を謳う温泉郷の入口に佇む1面1線の駅である。
窓口の営業時間中は、改札にて着物を纏った女性が検札を行っている。
東京からも新幹線利用で3時間かからずに到着するこの温泉郷。是非とも気軽に訪れて欲しい。
その際は、写真5枚目のあいそめ湯ったりきっぷなどのお得なきっぷを使うとなお良いだろう。
有効期限は発売から30日なので、泊まりがけの旅行でも使用可能だ。
一つ注意して欲しいのは、このきっぷは途中下車不可能であること。
何度も乗り降りして楽しみたい方は、別のきっぷを使われたし?
 About 30 minutes from Ueda station on the Bessho line.
It is a one-sided, one-line station located at the entrance of the hot spring village that sings the oldest in Shinshu.
During business hours at the counter, a woman wearing a kimono checks the ticket at the ticket gate.
This hot spring village arrives from Tokyo in less than 3 hours by using the Shinkansen. Please feel free to visit us.
In that case, it would be even better to use a great ticket such as the Aisome Yutari ticket, which is the 5th photo.
The expiration date is 30 days from the date of release, so it can be used even for overnight trips.
One thing to note is that this ticket cannot be stopped on the way.

レトロの駅舎は観光名所。
9時から17時は袴姿の美人駅長が改札をする。該当時間外は無人駅。
ちなみにこの駅は簡易委託駅である。

From 9:00 to 17:00, the beautiful stationmaster in a hakama will open the ticket gate. Unmanned station outside the applicable hours.

This is the gateway to Bessho Onsen. This station is convenient for Kitamuki Kannon, which is paired with Zenkoji Temple. The station building has a retro feel, and the old round window train is on display next to the station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 千曲川の橋梁が、復旧したので、乗りに行きました。硬券の切符&折返し駅の独特の雰囲気&お下がりの電車といい、どれも懐かしさ昭和を感じ、良かったです。
The bridge on the Chikuma River has been restored, so I went for a ride. It was good to feel the nostalgic Showa era, with the ticket of the hard ticket, the unique atmosphere of the turnaround station, and the train that went down.
