泉	泉澤栄一 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大将軍八神社の向かい側にある。駐車場も備えた比較的広い敷地を持つ静かなお寺。入ってすぐに目立つのが本堂よりも前に、古いお墓の密集地域。周囲は新しい墓石が並んでいるが内部はその風化具合からおそらく江戸時代のものだろうと思われる。真ん中に石地蔵みたいなものが立っていた。本堂も比較的大きくて立派なもの。境内もよくきれいに整備されている。山門を入ったすぐ脇にお堂があって、ガラス越しに仏像らしきものが見える。本尊かもしれないがよくわからない。 It is opposite Daishogun Shrine. 莫	莫妄想 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 浄土宗寺院で阿弥陀如来がご本尊。山門の手前向かって右手に乾三十三所の29番であることを示す、明治時代に建立された石碑があります。どうも洛中から見て乾の方角(西北部)の寺院三十三ヶ所を巡る霊場があったようで、現在ではほとんど不明のよう。また、山門入って左手にお堂があり、こちらには「長寶寺」の扁額。長宝寺(長寶寺)」はかつて北野天満宮の七京七保御供所のひとつ「三ノ保社」であり、菅原道真公の先祖野見宿禰が祀られていたらしい。そして現在このお堂にあるのがそのお寺のご本尊だった菅原道真公自刻の十一面観世音菩薩像。明治時代になって長保寺が廃寺になったため、こちらに移されたとのこと。 Amida Nyorai is the principal image of the Jodo sect temple.
