There was a big keyaki in the grounds here. In 1966, this keyaki was destroyed by fire. Therefore, when the trees were cut down and tidyed up, there was a phenomenon that the ax used for the work was broken one after another, and it is said that the two craftsmen who worked on the work were unhappy. The person who bought this wood felt unhappy, and he finally paid the wood to the company. This wood still remains in the precincts.

It is a historical shrine described in the history book "Engi-shiki" compiled in the middle of the Heian period. Today, it is said that the landowner named Kyumoncho was once living in the place where the shrine is located, and many legends remain.

Shikinai-sha, which is listed as Izusa-hime Shrine in the section of Mutsu-Kuni Miyagi-gun in the Enki-shiki Shinto shrine. The deity is Izu Shirayamahime (or Mizokui Shrine), and according to the shrine, it was founded as an old shrine that is said to be the reign of Emperor Tenmu. ・ The seating area is on a small hill overlooking the surrounding area. This hill is called Choja Mansion, and the tradition of Sakanoue Tamura Maro remains. ・ It is not clear what kind of god Izu Sabisanmei (although it is Izu Sasai in the Enki-shiki Shinto shrine), but the Yuzu Sasai Shrine in Dewa Province (in Tsuruoka City's Shikinai Shrine) There is also a theory that it is a god of hot springs as well as a god of hot springs (which enshrines Tsuruoka Himemei), and that it is a god of grain production because the character of the enshrined place is Iidoi. ・ As you can see in the photo, there is a tradition that this place was the place where the mansion of a person named Kyumoncho was. In summary, this elder servant had the daughter of Saidainagon, a Kuge official. The princess was kidnapped on the way home from Ise and sold to this elder. The name was bad. When he was kidnapped, he prayed that the Kanzeon Bodhisattva would look ugly to ordinary people and look beautiful to noble people. Sakanoue Tamura Maro, who stopped by the mansion of the chief to conquer Ezo, saw this princess and gave birth to a boy, after which the bad guy and the boy went to the capital to meet Sakanoue Tamura Maro, and the boy became the second Tamura Maro. That is. ・ There are many such folklore in Tohoku. In some cases, Sakanoue Tamura Maro is Karita Maro, and the bad guys are Akutamahime and Satamahime.
