★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by Uji recently and of course I had to try the famous matcha here! Itoh Kyuemon is one of the top matcha shops in Uji and not only do they have green tea and matcha snacks, they also have a restaurant that serves savoury matcha dishes and sweet matcha desserts! Their menu changes regularly and this season, they're serving matcha strawberry desserts. This set features a mini matcha strawberry parfait, matcha swiss roll, matcha cheesecake, matcha strawberry mochi, and nama chocolates. Everything here was delicious - all very rich in matcha flavour and not too sweet at all. They were all so good I can't decide which was my favourite!
