A rare chill-out ski resort near Yuzawa. Although it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, I am satisfied to go with my children. (Sorry for children)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 9月の稲刈りのシーズンであった。ここ南魚沼地方はコシヒカリの産地でもある。刈り取られた稲がスキー場のリフトに吊るされて乾燥させられる。オフシーズンのスキー場を利用したアイデアである。
こうして出来上がったお米は天空米というブランドになり、10㎏で2万円という超高級米になる。
It was the rice harvest season in September. The Minami Uonuma region is also the origin of Koshihikari. The harvested rice is hung on a ski lift and dried. This is an idea that uses an off-season ski resort.
The rice thus made becomes a brand called Tenku Rice, and it becomes an ultra-high-quality rice of 20,000 yen at 10cm.
