★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome snow resort for people coming by train as well as car. In the train station before even going up lots of restaurant and shopping possibilities for everyone who has something forgotten. After taking the cable car the options are just awesome: our 2 years old little one played the whole day in the snow kids lands with few staff supervising. We used as whole family the option to ride the snow mobile. At the mountain station there were several restaurant options. Overall a great say!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is basically for skiing. The gondola ride is also very exciting. You can rent skiing equipment from the gondola station. But if you want cheap but good service, rent the equipment from shops near ECHIGO YUZAWA STATION. You could get all the equipment from 1500-2500 yen. They will provide a shuttle service to you to go to the gala yuzaya snow resort.

They said that the course was for beginners but I couldn't do it at all?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super convenient, not the best skiing within train distance of Tokyo, but the best combination of services including equipment rental, shopping, food, hot spring, swimming pool, ski school, and lift tickets that you have for a one day trip by shinkansen train.
