★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entrance fee is 550 yen. Parking is 300 yen per hour. There is a few shrines on the way to the castle. Place consists of inner yard with a park and a souvenir store, and the castle itself. Castle has 6 floors with a very steep ladders between them. There is a few items exhibited inside, like samurai armour or original castle decorations. From the top floor you can enjoy a nice view as castle is the tallest place in this area. This castle is one of the 5 Japanese castles counting as national treasures. Recommend it. Also recommend checking out the Meiji Village which is not far from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time getting to experience a no net view at the top. There was some steep steps but was very much worth it. Great precautions taken for COVID-19 and the staff was very generous. A huge recommendation for castle lovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castle was beautiful. Unfortunately you cannot get close to it without paying a fee of 550 yen per person. Shrines surrounding it were cute and well known for love.
Beautiful area and historic relic. The shopping district right outside was lively and offered a huge and fun range of food and products. Really stole the show. Great atmosphere.
All parking is paid parking - coin parking and official castle parking ranging from 200-300 yen an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inuyama Castle is 1 of 5 castles that is designated a natural treasure. The walking street towards the castle has many unique and traditional eateries to explore. The castle is small and usually a 30 minutes waiting time to arrive to the top. The views are breathtaking.

Be warned that the stairs up to the top are REALLY steep and there are A LOT of stairs. You can’t wear shoes inside so if you visit in the winter you will be on socks and have to traverse all the stairs.
