★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天守の東側に御神木の杉の木があります。この杉は元々犬山城より背が高く、伊勢湾台風の際に落雷を受けて枯れてしまいました。それ以降、地元の住民はこの杉の木が犬山城の身代わりになってくれたとして、しめ縄をして御神木として祀っています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 付櫓の右手前にある御神木、落雷が原因で昭和40年ごろに枯れてしまったが枯れる前は樹高が24m程、マンションだと８Fの高さと同じ高さがあったようです。ＣＧで再現した画像を掲示してくれないかなー。
