t	taro mame on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 伯備線電化でここから石蟹駅まで複線(線路付け替え)となる。「やくも」をこの区間ですれ違いさせる為だったが1時間毎の運転となりそれは崩れてしまった。井倉洞が控え当初「やくも」も1往復停車していたがいつの間にか停まらなくなってしまった。非電化時代は181系「やくも」は「食堂車」を組み込んで貫禄を持った編成で走り、米子で付属編成の増解結を行い「益田」まで往復する列車も走り「女王」であった。岡山〜米子を通しで走る普通列車には「キユニ、キニ」が連結され手小荷物や郵便物輸送も行われていた。古い建物の駅にはそれらの窓口が残る所も多い。日暮れの時間に訪問したけど駅の周辺はひっそりとしていた。 With the electrification of the Hakubi Line, it will be a double track (replacement of tracks) from here to Ishiga Station. こ	こうのとり on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 井倉洞の最寄り駅で伯備線が1～2時間に1本程度の運行状態のため、予定の電車を乗り過ごすとえらい目にあいます。採掘関係の施設が多いせいか、周辺はダンプカーが多く通るので、人気があまりない割にトラックが多い印象でした。 The Hakubi Line runs about once every 1 to 2 hours at the nearest station to Ikurado Cave, so it's a big deal if you miss the scheduled train.
