駅から車で5分ほど米子方面に向かったところに自動販売機があってあったかいときは、ねこちゃんたちがひなたぼっこをしています
 Ikoca can be used from this year. Although there is no shop, there is a small supermarket in the neighborhood, a spot for light meal called community cafe is also available, Saturdays-and-Sundays congratulation is closed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ のんびりとした田舎の駅。パーク&ライド駐車スペースが広い。駅に隣接して交流プラザがありますが、訪れたのが日曜で閉まっていました。
A relaxing countryside station. Large park and ride parking space. There is an exchange plaza adjacent to the station, but the one visited was closed on Sunday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自動券売機と駅員が常駐していました。特急も停まるようですし、地域の中心的な駅なんですかね。駐車場も広く、駅に並んでスーパーや食堂がありました。
An automatic ticket vending machine and station staff were stationed there. The limited express seems to stop, isn't it a central station in the area? The parking lot was wide, and there were supermarkets and restaurants alongside the station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平常ダイヤ下においても関西からの日帰りおろち号を実現させてくれるありがたい駅。ただし、やくも1号に自転車を積み、峠越えを含む備後落合駅への約30キロの道のりを走破する必要がある。
