★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 扉に「文治三年七月十日和泉三郎忠衡敬白」と銘文が浮き彫りされ、平泉藤原秀衡の三男忠衡寄進の鉄灯。 芭蕉翁もこの鉄灯を見て感涙したことが知られますが、当時は宝燈形式であり、屋根、扉は後世の補修です。
 The inscription "July 10, Bunji 3rd year, Saburo Izumi, Tadahira Keihaku" is embossed on the door, and the iron lamp donated by Hidehira Hiraizumi's third son, Tadahira. It is known that Basho Memorial Museum was also deeply moved when he saw this iron lamp, but at that time it was a treasure lamp type, and the roof and door were repaired for posterity.
