Affordable and comfortable hostel. Has a Japanese style bathhouse, shared showers and bathrooms, and food/drink essentials available. Got a private room with 2 beds, small but a good value.

I enjoyed the free access to their sauna, coffee, tea, Japanese spa hot bath, and kitchen with seasoning items. They have clean bathrooms on each floor. Decent size room to have space for bags and a small window for outside light. Ceilings are high enough for the top bunk to sit up. Bed is comfortable. Just 3 min walk to the Dobutsan Mae station. Definitely will stay again!

Location : really close to train station, convenient for travelling. Close to spa world, plenty of food options just minutes away, safe neighbourhood. (5 star) The room: I booked a room for 2. It was a bunker bed, quite a small room, really no space to maneuver once your luggage is open. Theres a aircon unit that can act as a heater as well. You'll receive complimentary bathrobes, slippers, toothbrush and even towels. Theres also a small refrigerator in your room. I didnt mind the small room considering I'm travelling and out all the time, plus a big common space on the ground floor. My only complain is the shared toilet that smelled like stale urine. The shower is separated and no complaints there. Only wish the room I got had a bit more space. (3.5 stars) Price: it's so cheap. I booked a room for 2, for a total of 4 nights and it raked up to only 60ish euro. (5 star) Facilities: firstly, you'll have shared toilets and shower on the level you're staying. Additionally, theres free public bath on the ground floor! (I used it everyday it was awesome) also on the ground floor, theres a shared kitchen and space to eat, free tea and coffee, vending machine selling other drinks, cheap snacks and ramen for sale and also entertainment such as comic books, Wii games etc for all to play. They also rent out bikes for free. (5 stars) Customer service: friendly staff, understand and semi-speak english. Really no complains here. (5 stars) Summary And overall surprisingly good stay. Wasnt expecting all the facilities and add ons considering the price I paid. I highly recommend this place, food and transport is so convenient, and the common space was a bonus for me. Only downside is small rooms and shared toilets.

Price: fantastic Location: not for kids, but interesting to see a different side of Japan. Many Izakayas surround the hotel. If you start walking to Dontonbori you will end up seeing most of the ‘to see’ sights, which made for happy little accident discoveries Bath: the bath was actually great. It was my first experience as well, but i got to have the whole room to myself which was nice. Its a little old, but it didn’t really bother me. Cleanliness: the room was clean and smelt smoke free. There was some smoke smell on the level but it never entered my room so i didn’t mind Room: yes the room was tiny, but I expected it to be I would book here again if i was on a budget

I am rather impressed with my little $15 room. It was much more than what I had expected. It was a little small, but I had expected to get skimpy little mattress and an end table. Instead I got an actual bed (something I was extraordinarily excited for since I had been sleeping on a skimpy little futon for the past month), a desk sized table, a chair, and a mini fridge. The amenities were really nice. Free wifi, hot showers available 24/7, a robe to wear around the hotel and slippers to go with it. The showers and bathrooms were communal, but everything‘s private while you use it. Supposedly, there is a Japanese style bath (like a sento) but I wasn’t able to go in there, so I can’t vouch for how nice it is. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with whatever I needed. The man I talked to spoke remarkably good English.

Low price and high quality hostel. Recommend for those who wanna enjoy the local culture and save some money for your own pockets. The public bath is a most try. It’s hard to find a place like it with every facility you need and only spend as less money as possible. The most important is that the reception is very friendly, nice and willing to solve every problems that travelers have. Highly recommend for people who wanna stay at Osaka!

Nice hotel. Staff speak good English. Got Kimono rental service at first floor where you have to be via Klook before hand.

A lovely hotel located in the heart of Osaka. It is literally 3 min away from the next train station and the surrounding area offers lots opportunities to taste the local cuisine. The hotel offered a very comfortable and welcoming community room with a tiny kitchen. The rooms themselves were rather small but we only needed a bed to spend the night. Bathrooms are shared on each floor, but don't worry: it's clean! Who doesn't like to use a regular shower may use the hotel own Onsen. Receptionists were very friendly and supportive. One can also rent bikes for free to discover the area. Price is perfect!
