Y	Yan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at 12.30PM, there were already 9 people in front of us so we queued for 50 minutes. Seats 4 on the counter, and two tables capable of seating 4 each for a total of 12. We only saw tourists eating here, and the waitress is Chinese. There are two chefs, both appeared to be strangely hesitant while cooking as if it were their first day, consulting a piece of paper every few seconds and constantly putting toppings on the wrong item, then picking bits off and putting them on another dish, moving at a very relaxed, glacial pace. It was a very strange contrast to other places where the chefs move with a smooth, practiced efficiency and flair. Delicious okonomiyaki, and the yakisoba looks awesome. Skip the modanyaki, the yakisoba noodles in there aren't cooked the same way as their yakisoba dish - it's just okonomiyaki with some noodles added in. Skip the butter scallops too, they were okay but not that good. Highly recommend the seafood mix version of the okonomiyaki, you get 3 scallops and 3-4 oysters as well as some prawn and squid. It's a super generous amount of seafood for only 1400 yen! Also recommend any dish with pork, the thin slices of pork are excellent. Overall I would recommend coming early to skip the queue, otherwise it's not super worth the queue - you can try one of the many okonomiyaki places in Dotonbori.

Chanced upon Okonomiyaki Chitose, just a short 3min walk from the subway. I have to say it's the best Okonomiyaki I've had in Osaka. Ingredients used were very fresh and tasty. The chefs prepare the dishes right infront of you (on their stove) and transfer the dishes to a personal stove on your dining area. The store is quite small though, so come by before they open to grab a space. The only downside is that the cooking smokes up the store, so don't be in your most expensive attire when you visit. Staff/chef were very polite and speak English (has English menu too). Must visit when you're here in Osaka for the BEST okonomiyaki.

Okonomiyaki was one of the things I was most excited to try on our trip, but I was worried we wouldn't be able to find a decent veggie version. Chitose was the perfect, authentic spot, and the food was delicious! They even had soy faux meat strips! They've been open and family owned for decades. Their staff was very sweet, tourist-friendly and spoke great English. I really hope to come back someone soon!

The man was very careful and delicate when preparing it. - really enjoyed watching the chef cook in front of me. - serves it to you on the hot plate he cooks on so it stays hot. - the waitress speaks English really well. Really careful and double checked my dietary requirements with me. - great atmosphere. Cons: - We got there early but it's a very small store so you might have to wait outside. There was a line outside when we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend. Will definitely try and come again!

Unfortunately the opening hours were different when I returned last weekend so I couldn't go. I also wasn't very welcomed by a white guy inside who looked offended that another foreigner would go to the same restaurant. But the staff are great and the food really should be tried if you are in Osaka
Y	Y Z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place makes me realize that we need more then 5 stars to rate on google maps - it deserves at least 10!!! Truly amazing experience. The place is rather small, fitting only 12 people at once. The staff is really friendly, they speak proper Englisch and can even talk some German. I ate Okonomiyaki for the first time in my life, and from now on I want to eat it every single day to come. The noodles are also tasting amazing... I believe there is no wrong choice here. Best you go with the signature okonomiyaki! Also the guys are collecting bills of foreign currencies. So feel free to contribute something from your home country as a little tip!

I told the owner 儲かりまっかぁ, and he warmly appreciated my Osaka Ben with a ぼちぼちでんな. Kansai truly is a beautiful and my favorite part of Japan. I cannot wait to visit again!
