Located between Higashi-Shiogama Station and Nishi-Shiogama Station. There is good access to Kashiwa Shrine and Marin Gate Shiogama.

Y	Y S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 震災の時は浸水被害等少なからずあったと。綺麗な駅舎、駅前には寿司の名店があったり、塩竈神社も徒歩圏内。平日の15時頃、駅前は閑散。塩竈市市政80周年が控えてるのだろう、市役所の広報カーが、駅前駐車場で虚しくPRしてました。流行り病の影響も少なからずあるのだろう。仙台から約30分、活気が戻る事を願います。 At the time of the earthquake, there were not a few inundation damages.
