Hikawamachi Hikawa Shrine - Itabashi City

Due to the influence of Corona, I went to the neighborhood for the first time this year. A long line that wouldn't be possible if you went during the daytime on New Year's Day. I had no choice but to visit the next day.

I came to visit Fujizuka. Only a small amount of lava from Mt. Fuji was used, and although it was poorly reproducible as a miniature, it was a well-preserved Fujizuka.

It is the nearest Hikawa Shrine that you must visit every year for the first visit. When I built my new house, I had a groundbreaking ceremony. I also asked for the children's 753 congratulatory words here. Therefore, it may not be helpful for other people, but personally it is 5 stars.

It's not as big as Hikawa Shrine in Omiya, but it has a magnificent shrine at the end of a row of Icho trees, and Fujizuka (small but climbable) on the Noh stage.

The guardian of Itabashi-shuku, Hikawa Shrine, is enshrined back to back with Hikawa Tsuribori Park, and I have visited there. Saemonnojo Toyoshima, who was the lord of this area, dedicated the two pillars of the spirits of Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Hikawa Inada from Hikawa Shrine in Omiya City, and built a shrine on the banks of the Shakujii River for generations. It seems that he was enshrined. After the fall of Toshima, the residents revered it as the guardian of Itabashi-shuku, the parent inn in Nakasendo, but the materials and documents disappeared due to a fire in 1887. The company was rebuilt the following year, but in 1945 it was burned down due to the war. The flow-making shrine was completed in 1958. The current parishion area is called Jukugamachi, so it's quite a wide area. There is Fujizuka in this precinct, and it seems that it was the only one built in the Edo period in Itabashi Ward. A monument to Sakuya Kibana stands on the top of the mountain. In Itabashi Ward, Tokumaru Fuji is located at Kitano Shrine, and Akatsuka Fuji is located at Akatsuka Hikawa Shrine. At Itabashi Hikawa Fuji, a mountain climbing ritual was held for more than 100 years by Nagata Ko, which was formed by Choshiro Nagata, a disciple of Jikigyo Miroku who was the leader of Fuji Ko in the middle of the Edo period and the originator of the Fuji Ko Roku school. The Nagata class is currently closed, but tools are donated to the Itabashi Historical Museum. I want to see this for a moment. It became a ward-registered cultural property in 2013 as a valuable historic site for considering the activity status of Mt. Fuji worship classes in the area and the beliefs and folklore of the area. The shrine has disappeared, but the approach to the shrine, torii gates, and Fujizuka make us feel a long history. I thought that there are many Hikawa shrines in my neighborhood, and when I looked it up, I heard that there are 10 shrines in Itabashi.

Do many Hikawa shrines have a long approach? !! Omiya Hikawa Shrine, the head office, is very famous, but the long approach is also wonderful. However, there are big roads, condominiums, etc. around, and it feels lonely that there is little greenery. It's interesting that there are Inari and Fujizuka. The company is beautiful and you can forget about the hustle and bustle of the city.
