★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近くに子供向けの公園ができたわりに子連れには不親切でした。
ベビーカーで6番口からエレベーターで改札まで下りて、改札を入った後に「エレベーターないですけど」と駅員さんに言われました。まるで悪いことをした時のような呼び止められ方で驚きました。ふーん、この駅は古いからエレベーターもないのかと思い、子供を抱いてベビーカーを担いでホームまで階段を下りました。
家でよくよく調べたら別の改札から入ればエレベーターあったのですね。調べなかった私が悪いのかもしれませんが、「あちらの改札ならエレベーターありますよ」と声掛けするのが適当なのではないでしょうか。
ということで、ベビーカーの方、足の悪い方、大荷物の方、雑司ヶ谷寄りの改札ならエレベーターがあるそうです。ご注意ください。

I was surprised at how it was stopped as if I had done something wrong. Hmmm, I thought that this station is old and there is no elevator, so I carried a stroller with my child and went down the stairs to the platform.
If you look closely at home, you can find an elevator if you enter from another ticket gate. It may be bad for me who didn't check it, but I think it would be appropriate to say, "There is an elevator at that ticket gate."
So, it seems that there is an elevator for strollers, those with bad legs, large luggage, and ticket gates near Zoshigaya. please note.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ４番の入り口は工事中のため、現在閉鎖中です。エレベーターのある入り口まで遠く、足が不自由で階段の昇降が不可能な人間には都電からの乗り換えが不便です。

島式ホームの地下駅であり、改札とホームを結ぶエレベーター及びエスカレーターがあります。ホームドアは有楽町線全線での設置計画により、2011年（平成23年）３月から使用開始されている。
駅の近くには、都電荒川線（東京さくらトラム）の東池袋四丁目停留所があり、当駅の地上３～５番出入口付近に乗場がありますが、有楽町線では正式な乗換案内は行っておりません。

There are also high-rise condominiums "Rise City Ikebukuro" and "Owl Tower Ikebukuro" nearby. Convenient because it is connected by the Higashi-Ikebukuro underground passage. There is also an elevator that goes up to the ground.
It is an underground station of an island platform, and there are elevators and escalators that connect the ticket gate and the platform. Platform doors have been in use since March 2011 due to the installation plan for all Yurakucho lines.
Near the station, there is the Higashiikebukuro 4-chome stop on the Toden-Arakawa line (Tokyo Sakura tram), and there is a platform near the 3rd to 5th entrances above the ground, but the Yurakucho line does not provide official transfer information. Hmm.
